Beverage BULGE
Do you consider the calories you DRINK to be part of your eating plan? You SHOULD and Maybe you WOULD if you allow these two facts to sink in:
- research suggests that beverages are much less satisfying than solid foods
- Americans now get more than 21% of their total daily calories from drinks (think hot, cold, sports, etc)
The next time you drive through for that favorite ‘pick me up’ beverage, or pour yourself another cup/glass of whatever, think about how you fit in your jeans, how you feel in your bathingsuit and even how much that beverage costs (it could pay for 1/2 a gallon of gas!). Consider water, good old H2O as a healthy, calorie responsible solution to thirst (and the best diet aid around!)
