Take a Fitness STAYcation this Summer!

Why not stay at HOME and Get FIT this Summer?

With gas prices choking the family budget, why not consider staying close to home this summer.  Consider taking a STAYcation!

You know, staying more local and enjoying what your area has to offer.  Wrap it up with your intention to improve your fitness and July and August can be the best months of your life!

Take a look, I am sure you have access to some nice beaches, lakes, hiking trails and other outdoor destinations/activities that would be fun for you and your family and interject some much needed MOVEMENT for your body.  We sit for hours commuting to our jobs, in meetings, surfing the net and playing video games, why not harken back to your childhood (at least mine!) and host a badminton or wiffle ball tournament, a bike tour or beach scavenger hunt?

Reminding yourself of all the fun you can have in a 20 mile radius of your home can renergize your fitness program AND remove the stress of “getting ready to go on vacation….returning from vacation”  – If you know what I am saying, I’d love to hear from you!
